And it's an ATC from me.....

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well,

As I write this it is the first day of October, how quickly has this year flown by, however, I started this blog on the 1st October, but have spent the last couple of weeks in hospital, its now the 28th October I am now, thankfully, much better, but proves that this year has flown by :-)

I mentioned in previous blogs that I would be creating some different videos, I have been procrastinating over ATC’s – Artist Trading Cards* – for quite some time and have taken the plunge and created 6 , I have used the theme Autumn as I have joined a challenge and that is the theme for this month, in my head these little pieces of artwork are the start to getting the confidence to actually use one of the 4 journals that I have !

*ATC’s = Artist Trading Cards are pieces of artwork of a defined size 2.5” x 3.5” that are traded and not sold, they should be signed and dated and unique, however, they can be of the same theme, you can only trade your own works and no other artists/creators. Any card can be used and many people use cereal boxes.

I have enjoyed making these I used a thin greyboard that I bought quite some time ago and of course some of my stash, I hope you like them, please visit my YouTube Channel to see how I made them.

Until the next time

Take Care

Nicky

What are the requirements of an artist trading card?

The artist trading card rules are as follows.

  • Size = 2.5 x 3.5 inches (64 mm × 89 mm)

  • ATCs are traded not sold.

  • Signed and dated on the back.

  • Neatness counts.

  • Do NOT trade other artists cards.
